Positive Loopholes

Have you noticed all the patterns in your life?

Have you ever wondered why you constantly notice what you lack and the lacking persists? We repeatedly express everything that is going wrong, that is missing in our lives and nothing changes. Why is that?

We have created an unhealthy loophole in which we are continously circling mentally. The result is the embodimient of what we are repeating in our minds and actions. The moment we restart that loophole and convert it into a positive one is the moment we change our mind-set.

If you continue to shed a light on all wrongs, they will keep appearing. But if we live in gratitude, conscious of all we do have we will keep receiving more of it.

Let’s think about all the times our mothers would say “Don’t come back too late something bad will happen.” Why would they acknowledge the bad while expecting the good to happen? Why do we? It’s like expecting to be healthier while eating junk food. It is the same with money, love, time and oppoetunities. If we keep on acknowledging we don’t “have” them we will continue lacking them

I have mentioned before the power our perspectives have but also it is important to mention that while we are greatful about everything even before it happens we are already acknowledging it happened. So, why woulnd’t it happen?

It is our job to restart and upgrade our toxic loops and patterns and create a more conscious, postive loop. The moment we change our perspectives to positive ones our life and everything in it will evolve for the better. The possibilities will be as they are, limitless.

Facing yourself

Have you ever spent time in silence? Really silent, just you with you. A moment in which you take a deep breath and pay attention to yourself. Have you ever achieved a moment like that?

As we grow up we are told exactly what to do in order to “succeed”, by the time we reach our 30’s we may feel we have taken on the world, or maybe not so much. During our lives we are prepared to face the world in some ways, but in no way does anyone prepare us to face ourselves. To connect with our body, mind, and spirit.

This connection is so important to our personal development. We get headaches, backaches, maybe some extremity has been hurting for a while; but do we pay attention to all of these signals? Yes, they are signals. Most of our aches are a reflection of something deeper going on inside of us. All that sleep deprivation, all those colds, and even serious diseases are a result of our neglection towards ourselves. And at the same time an overdose of stress, anticipation, anxiety, and uncertainty.

We keep going because we think its temporary but sooner or later we have to respond. We have to face our needs, our feelings, our spirit.

Our mind is constantly telling us what to do, we have emotions swarming all over us. But, have you ever paid attention to what your spirit has to say? We tend to go straight to our minds for answers on what to do next. Not once have we ever thought of letting our spirirt tell us what to do. We just become this mess of emotions and “shoulds” and “should haves”.

Only when we take a moment in silence and ask ourselves {mind, body, and spirit} what to do we will reach all the answers we are looking for.

Take a deep breath, ask your gut how you are really feeling, ask your spirit what to do and ask your mind how to do it.

Metamorphosis

If there is something in our lives that will be constant it is change. The world, nature, society, trends, everything around us is constantly changing. And so are we.

We are constantly learning, growing, making desicions that lead us to new ways of living. If change is so constant and normal then, why do we have such an issue with it? In many ways we want our lives to change for the better. We want to achieve economic stability, have a car, a house, a dog, graduate, a promotion, to be our own bosses; but are we willing to make some sacrifices in order to attain all we want?

Here is where our problem is, we want our lives to change without making changes. We expect to wake up one day and BAM!, there it is all we ever wanted. I’m sorry to burst bubbles, but nothing in our lives will change if we don’t start changing ourselves. None of us can expect our lives to evolve if we continue acting like we have during past years.

Growing up is hard, but even harder is facing the reality that we need to grow up. To start prioritizing, making better desicions, being a little more selfish with our time, money and energy. BORING, I know but it is the way it is. Would you rather keep doing what your doing and then realize you should have made some adjustments in your life after 20 years? Nobody wants to wake up and say “I should have”. We want to wake up and say “I’m glad I did”.

Until we start making changes for the better we will continue to be caterpillars waiting for our cocoons to break. In reality we have to break it ourselves.

And in this cocoon creating process it is important to remember that we must be patient with ourselves. The metamorphosis of the caterpillar will occur, it is INEVITABLE. There is a change and a growth that is bound to happen; wether we push to it or not. Give yourself time, space, and understanding.
